"The only place where things were actually real was at this frontier between what you think is you and what you think is not you."

January Week 1: Why The Co-Creator's Journey?

Overview And Objectives

This week we will take a high-level view of what it means to be a co-creator. The standard definition as offered by the Free Dictionary is: "someone who creates something jointly with another person or with other people" and it makes perfect sense if you are looking at co-creating as simply an action.

However, co-creating is also a skill and a way of being. In other words, there is more to it than a task. How can cocreating help us with our relationships and work? We want to discover more about what is involved which we will be doing this week.

The Co-Creator's Journey

We are going to start with an overview of the Co-Creator's Journey so the path for the next year makes sense.

“Believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance, and have faith that in this love there is a strength and a blessing so large that you can travel as far as you wish without having to step outside it.”

Ranier Maria Rilke

Connecting The Dots

Questions, ideas, and insights to stimulate your thinking and to help integrate this week's information into your life.

Insight 1

If you are co-creating you can only be in the present because that is where all creating takes place.

Insight 2

Co-creating means you are always in your center. When you are centered you allow the past, present, and future to speak to you and you move forward with whatever the next step is for you in your activities.

Insight 3

Co-creating is a great way to avoid the use of force by allowing your agenda to be set by the unfolding of life - by whatever next step needs to be taken.
