February Week 1: The Grounding Of Identity

Overview And Objectives
This week we will look at the DOES Model to begin to understand how as sensitive people we naturally connect with the flow and unfolding of the universe.
We will also start looking at perceptions about ourselves. Sensitive people are taught that there is something wrong with them. Those viewpoints stem from an idea about who we "should be" and are often wildly inaccurate. We will be examining perception throughout the course and reframing those perceptions through the insights we develop.

The Visionary Nature Of Sensitive People
Sensitive people have the capacity to be visionaries when they are able to master their sensitivity. This video explores that possibility.
“Being highly sensitive does not at all rule out being, in your own way, a tenacious survivor.”
Elaine Aron, Ph.D.
