April Week 3: Wonder And Intuition

Overview And Objectives

As children, we are open to the world around us. As we become more familiar with the world and the claims of our cultures, that natural and original openness diminishes.

One of the ways in which our growth can be controlled or thwarted is to discourage our natural curiosity and wonder. Curiosity is a requirement for a co-creating adult.

Curiosity causes us to question when something is not working and seek ways to improve. Curiosity about ourselves causes us to explore some of our habits so that we can make changes to be happier and more effective.

Wonder: A Doorway To Intuition

Intuition and the openness to experience as well as the information that comes from it is one of the most important qualities to develop to support integrity and authenticity. The process of developing our intuition starts with wonder which we explore in this video.

“At times you have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself.”

Alan Alda
